Do I need the goggles?
Yes — the Avata 2 is an FPV drone and requires Goggles 3 (included in Fly More Combo) plus the RC Motion 3, or the FPV Remote Controller 3 for manual (acro) flying.
Is it different from the original Avata?
Yes. The Avata 2 is lighter, has a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor, 4K/60fps HDR, the new Goggles 3 with Real View PiP, longer battery life and an integrated propeller guard.
How long does the battery last?
Up to about 23 minutes per Intelligent Flight Battery. The Fly More Combo (Three Batteries) ships with three batteries and the Two-Way Charging Hub for a full day of flying.
Can beginners fly it?
Yes. The RC Motion 3 is one-handed and beginner-friendly, with Easy ACRO flips and drifts achievable with a single push. Manual (M) mode with the FPV Remote Controller 3 is available when skills progress.
Is it safe indoors?
Much safer than the original Avata thanks to the integrated propeller guard, binocular fisheye positioning for low-altitude stability, and Turtle mode to recover from tumbles.
